Who we are

This website is operated by OTT Development & Construction Ltd ("OTT", "we", "us"), a development, construction and procurement company operating in Nigeria. OTT is responsible for the personal data described in this notice.

This notice explains what personal data the website collects, why, how it is handled and the rights you have. It is written with reference to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the regulations and guidance of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

What we collect

The website collects personal data only when you choose to send a project enquiry through the form on the Contact page. The form asks for:

  • Name (required)
  • Company
  • Email address (required)
  • Phone number
  • Project type
  • Project location
  • Estimated project timeline
  • Message (required)

Please do not include sensitive personal data, such as health, financial account or identity document details, in your enquiry. The form does not ask for it and it is not needed to respond.

The website does not require an account, does not use analytics or advertising tools and does not build a profile of visitors. Like any website, the hosting infrastructure processes technical request data, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, in order to deliver pages securely and to protect the service against misuse.

Why we use it

We use the details you submit to read, assess and respond to your project or business enquiry, to follow up on it, and to keep a record of the correspondence. Where an enquiry leads to further discussion, the information may inform proposals, meetings or pre-contract steps that you have asked for.

We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent in choosing to submit it, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and taking steps you request before any agreement is entered into. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; this does not affect processing already carried out.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use enquiry data for unrelated marketing.

How your enquiry is processed

When you send the form, your enquiry passes through the following services, each used only to deliver and handle it:

  • Vercel: hosts this website and receives the form submission.
  • n8n: a workflow automation service that receives the submission from the website and prepares it for delivery.
  • Resend: a transactional email service that delivers the enquiry as an email to OTT's project enquiries mailbox, with your email address set as the reply address.
  • Google Workspace: hosts OTT's business email, where the enquiry is received, stored and answered.

These providers act on OTT's behalf and process the data under their own security and data protection terms. Some of them operate infrastructure outside Nigeria, so your enquiry may be transferred to and processed in other countries. Where that happens we rely on providers that maintain recognised data protection safeguards.

Who can see it

Enquiries are read by OTT staff responsible for responding to them. We may share enquiry details with professional advisers, or with partners or suppliers where that is necessary to respond to your request and you would reasonably expect it. We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and for our legitimate record keeping. When it is no longer needed it is deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a project, related records may be kept for longer in line with our contractual, accounting and legal obligations.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the enquiry mailbox and workflow is restricted to authorised accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold.

Your rights

Subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal data about you, to give you a copy of it, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, or to withdraw your consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

To make a request, email info@ottconstruction.ng. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the law allows.

Cookies

The public website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The Cookie notice explains this in more detail.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice if the way the website handles personal data changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
