Accessibility statement

OTT Development & Construction Ltd wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as a reasonable standard.

The website has been designed and built with accessibility in mind, including:

• semantic page structure with headings, landmarks and a consistent navigation order;
• full keyboard operation of navigation, menus and the enquiry form, with visible focus indicators;
• text and interface colours chosen to meet AA contrast ratios;
• text alternatives for informative images, with decorative imagery hidden from screen readers;
• labelled form fields, with the result of a submission announced to assistive technology;
• layouts that adapt to small screens and zoomed text without horizontal scrolling;
• reduced animation for visitors who have asked their device to minimise motion, and a pause control for the homepage film.

The website has been checked with automated accessibility testing and manual review, including keyboard use and layout checks at common desktop, tablet and mobile widths. It has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist, so we do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA.

Some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. On larger screens the homepage opens with a short, silent architectural film that plays once and can be paused with the control in the top right of the hero. It is decorative, carries no information that is not also given in text, and is replaced by a still image on smaller screens and for visitors who have asked their device to reduce motion.

Some project photographs and technical illustrations are complex, and their text descriptions summarise rather than describe every detail.
